Documentary on Nanjing Massacre premiered at Nara, Japan

[Abstract] Directed by Tamaki Matsuoka, a new documentary “The 1300 Persons Disappeared at Taiping Gate” premiered at Nara, Japan. About 300 people from various regions of Japan came to watch this 75 minutes film to learn about this chapter of history which was not told in the classrooms. Matsuoka is a retired elementary school teacher who has researched on the facts of Nanjing Massacre and documented testimonies of eyewitnesses of the victims and the perpetrators for decades.
